Why am I seeing codes?

Hi folks,

When I compose a PM and use the "preview" feature, and also when I receive a PM, I see all the markup codes. For example, if I want something to be bold, I don't see the words in bold - I just see the codes that are supposed to turn bold on and off. (I don't know whether the PM recipients are seeing codes.)

Is there an easy fix for this? It just started happening recently; I think it might have happened to me here a long time ago too, but don't recall how it was fixed.

I believe it was done to prevent malevolent links, that were phishing attempts from compromised accounts.

BB Code has been disabled in PM's to help prevent phishing scams.
