I'm looking for the whois for .sc. It’s a bit ironic that whois.sc doesn’t have that information, neither does netsol, register.com or whois.net or idotz.net. Where can I get the whois information for .sc?

Oddly enough, there doesn't seem to be one. The home is here:

It appears you still have to apply for names by a non-online form, and see availability by trial and error.

Then choose the extension:

None-listed, there is a good clue that it's not going to be easy to come by
