I found a few quite good whois domains that no one has picked up yet.

Are they good enough to resell?

How much do you think an ordinary whois related domain would sell for?

You mean whoissomething.com? It would depend on the something.

Yeah I have to agree with armstrong on this one, it really does depend on what the domain name is.

Well, could I PM you guys about the domain and maybe you guys can tell me how much it maybe be worth?

I don't think it'll be worth hundreds of course. Probably 20 dollars or so maybe.

It would be best if you posted here so that you can get opinions from other members as well. :)

That's ok with me. I can understand your position, if you don't want to "reveal" to the public your domain name, so pm me if you still want an advice. :)

even though I agree with Raf above, it would be better for you to post it on "domain appraisals" in order to get more opinions.

FYI, posting in Domain Appraisals is allowed only for domains you own or control. Questions like what is being discussed in this thread belong here under Domain Discussions.

I don't see or expect a lot of demand for 'whois' names. It's a small niche.

How about a whois.cctld ? I have my eyes on one of these (a country with tens of millions of people), and I think it can be leveraged into a domain or webmaster-related website, as whois.cctld is something webmasters automatically type in to try to access whois information.

I believe whois.cctld is supposed to be reserved, but some of these (like whois.sc) were inadvertently registered and are now in use.

In a similar reserved but desirable situation are nic.cctld and domreg.cctld.
