Tell me if I'm wrong, but common sense tells me that the best way to monetize a domain name is to have advertising that reflects the content that one would associate w/ the name. If someone does a search and goes to one of my domains that has a health theme, I don't want them to land on a directory page that links to banking, gambling, vacations etc.
I'm just getting familiar w/ some of the new cos, but have parked at Sedo, Afternic, and am now mostly at Fabulous. Fabulous has some fairly good looking pages and allows you to customize your advertisers. (Although, I would like to have a larger variety to choose from). Sedo seems to be the most content specific. I haven't seen DomainHop yet, but DomainShop seems to have very generalized directory pages, almost the same, from name to name.
Do the differences in ppc amts, paid out by the different companies, simply, overide the factors of the ppc site look and, more importantly, having content that goes w/ the name of the site.
In other words, will a ppc site w/ links that are content specific to the sites name, increase the click throughs and help promote traffic?
