Who gets .Asia registration rights???

My question is, if the .asia domain somebody preregged goes into auction...
and say two (person) reggers are after the same name, one anticipates not to bother bidding on the auction as he don't want to cough up another (?$90$?not sure) I believe...but then the 2nd bidder have the same thought not to bid on the name.

Will the name be awarded to the one who regged it first????
Anyone with connection with main .asia registry, can you confirm on this?

The name will likely be awarded to the one who completes all the requirements
of the .asia Registry first. It's one thing to win an auction, it's another to meet
whatever's asked for afterwards.

Basically, I'm talking about both person have already met the proper requirement in the first place before regging the name firsthand.

Although I have absolutely no clue what the .asia registry will do, it seems to me the logical way to handle that situation would be to give it to the person who attempted to register the name first. Thats what the big auction houses do. first come, first served.

Thanks Justin (Spade) which is the point I'm trying to get across. It should be awarded to the 1st regger. As I assume that the majority of reggers is just like me, a regular domainer who might not want to cough up more bucks just to pursue the domain to an auction!!! Its pretty obvious the auction thingy is just a way for .asia.org to generate instant income and then some (steal 'em premium names).

Honestly, they might just be saving you some heartburn, not to mention a lot of money

With the amount of confusion and scheming going on... who knows where this tld is going.

They claimed 450k pre-regs, I'd like to see the root file a month or so after the tld goes live

450 preregs includes a lot multiple application for one single name..u might have hundreds of domainers trying to prereg business.asia, sex.asia etc so maybe they shud list how many domains isstead of applications #
