Hi guys,

Just wondering who are the biggest domainers active on Namepros?

My question is in relation to a section in a national australian magazine on the domaining industry. I'm looking to put together a panel that appears in every issue, so i need genuine domainers with years of industry experience who know the industry inside and out.

I'm scouting now to find the players in the industry?

P.S. any domainers located in Sydney who fit the description pm me.

Please define "big domainer" to us. That would help us out a bit.

it could be by weight, by height, by investments or by domains he/she owned or the number of renewals.

Fair Call :)

'Big' in relation to knowledge surrounding everything from IP law to branding to finding the right domains for investments and resale. They need generalized knowledge on all the companies and players in the industry, as they may be on a panel that discusses everything relating to domains.

They would also be in this industry as a full time job, whether for their own company or any other domain company.

Though personal experience in domain sales and portfolio ownership would also be great as well, for example domainers who operate portfolios over 5000 domains?

And anyone who has made a name for themselves in this industry.

There are quite a few full-time Domainers on this forum. All of them have different expertise in many of the fascets of this industry. I dont think anyone is going to come forward and say "Hey, look at me, Im a Pro".

I might suggest digging through this Forum. There are plenty of solid Domainers here, just gotta dig around till you find one.

At the risk of people getting irriated for being outed, here's some people I would recommend talking to (in no particular order):

-RJ-, Spade, Yofie, Holyroller, DNP, Acroplex, PCPro, Rockefeller, TheLegendaryJP, DotComGod, Johnn, Cyberian, Gene, Reece, Acronym007, Michael_Goldman, SharonTucci, DomainBell, Oxigy.com, bdjuf, B.King, MellowMasher, DomainReseller, NPQueen, Bill, TobiasR, NameTrader.com, Smith, etc.

For IP issues, you can't do any better than jberryhill... he is a god.

Sorry if I missed anyone, it's late and I'm tired :)

Big domainers could also mean domainers who own 50,000 hand regged crappy domains. :D

I think you'd find that just about any "big" person in the domain industry has or has at one point had an account at NP.

I'm sure most heavy duty domain pros visit this forum regularly.
