Which type of domains sell better?

Hi, I'm a newbie to domaining.

I started out by buying dictionary words and so far it has been a failure. I understood not all dictionary words have value.

I did manage to sell 3 domains related to Loans, Forex, and Tax services.

So what I learnt is Finance, Product related domains or services related domains sell! But what TLD's sell better? Of course It's the .com, I know! but what abt the .net and .org?

Suppose I hand-register them, say something like CarpentryServices.org or a .net what could be the value if i try to sell it? Or rather I should ask Would ppl be interested in buying it?
