What web servers do you use and why?
I see that the major web hosting companies use Apache but ServerPoint.com uses Zeus. I'd like to hear the opinion of the community about it? What are the pluses and minuses of using Zeus servers?

I'd say stick to Apache because you know it to be reliable. If I were to look at anything besides Apache, I might would look at LiteSpeed:

I too use Apache and I would choose apache. It's well known, and so far very reliable. Like CrazyTech said, if I were to try a new http server, I would go with LiteSpeed.

From what i know, Serverpoint have optimized Zeus quite a bit so it should be fast.

Apache is still fantastic, fast and reliable.. so i don't see why it should be an issue to go with either.

Apache is free and if properly configured can give you stable performance. Zeus is costly, but able to deliver better performance. I know you can use a 30 day trial version of the server from http://www.zeus.com/products/zws/.
I guess serverpoint.com are able to deliver such quality to their clients partially due to the fact they are using zeus.

I have not personally used the zeus webserver but has read some threads about them in some forums. I have actually seen mixed comments about it.
As Mutogen suggested the best way will be to go and have a try. Is there any special reason for looking for Zeus?

Never tried Zeus, but I would go with Apache or better yet Lighttpd. Lighttpd is a light weight webserver that comes pre-installed with LXAdmin/HostInABox control panel by LXLabs. The webserver is great for hosting just about anything; we have been using it for our corporate sites for just about 7 months now without any problems.

Zeus requries to have skilled staff. Serverpoint.com do provide zeus for quite long period of time and you can trust them.

I have heard good reviews about them. But is there any special reasons for looking for Zeus?

I think so otherwise ServerPoint.com won't provide it. I believe that Zeus perfomance is higher than Apache and it's more stable. You may judge about it looking at their comparison table.

Apache, for its reliability and technical maturity.

Thats a huge difference. I think it is not free. right? That may be reason why they are not that much familiar.

Surely Zeus is not open-source unlike Apache. Zeus servers are the propriety of Zeus technology and it's not very cheap. But as you pay for it, ServerPoint.com must have quality team that provides specialized maintaince of this server.

As I see the greater part of community members use Apache, guess because it's free. As I know Zeus server has a very sable performance.
Besides ServerPont.com specialize in cpu intensive apps. Their
servers are designed for that.

Apache is the product of hundreds of dedicated volunteers, and is proof of the power of free open-source software. When it comes to running your Intranet, it will remain stable and is unlikely to let you down. For a great deal more money, Zeus offers a small range of improvements over Apache for your Intranet. It's main advantage of load bearing is unlikely to be necessary on most Intranets, and is more designed for highly popular websites. That said, Zeus's interface is intuitive and makes administrating your Intranet a breeze.
In conclusion, for all but the largest Intranets, Apache is the ideal solution as it's free and reliable. For that extra power, as well as the availability of telephone support, Zeus is certainly a viable alternative - if the budget is available.
That is why IMO ServerPoint.com provides Zeus server.
