Definitely not Godaddy. My best domain expired due to me writing down the wrong expiry date on my master sheet. I have over 40 names registered so keep tabs on them by checking my master list monthly and naturally, I received reminders from the domain registrars...or so I thought.
This particular name attracted a lot of attention and offers. I checked my websites after being on xmas holidays and it went to another website. When I checked, it had been onsold by Godaddy after being expired for 30 days. No email reminders from Godaddy at all. You might wonder why?
When I checked, I found that just somehow, my email address had somehow changed so reminders were going into cyberspace. After reading all the crap on Godaddy, I moved all my domains into one central registrar and I now check regularly.
By the way, the one registrar is namecheap. I can't fault them. Their backup is great, and their reminders are over the top, but hey, I can handle that as I don't want another godaddy problem.
Can anyone tell me how I find out how much my domain was sold for.
