If you're selling to an end user, anything MIGHT be worth more than $500, selling to domainers - perhaps none of them.

You might get something decent on KUMT and the other short ones depending on where you chose to sell.

Thanks Mervyn. Since I am new to the domain space, would you mind advising me on where I should focus my energy in terms of selling these domains to maximize ROI?

Thanks very much for your insight.

hi
right now the only liquid domains you have are the two 4L.com

u can post them here for quick sale and get 300-400 each.

or try godaddy auctions for few dollars more cause there you pay 20% fees.

the rest of your domains is just a waiting game for endusers like all non liquid domains.
those may or may not come, may come in a year or in a week, and may pay $50 or 5k.
in short, no one knows.

hope this helps.

Hi Alcy,

Thanks for the feedback.

I checked the Estibot valuations for the 4L.com domains, which are valued at 1.7-1.8K

Do people base how much they are willing to spend for a domain on Estibot's valuations at all? If not, what variables are they looking at when determining a *TRUE* domain valuation (what they are willing to dish out). Eg: search traffic, 2-4 characters, etc?

Any additional insight is super appreciated.

Thanks so much,
Lisa

nope. no one looks at estibot unless thye just started domaining.

u just need to follow current market trends and values.

4L are very popular now so there is plenty of sites keeping stats and what sells for how much.

the one site par excellence is
llllsales.com

if you spend 1 hour there, you will know what sels how much.

V and vowel domains sell for less.. others for more

check out the site. its a lot of fun.

Never use Estibot for the value of your domains. People have sold domains worth $0 on Estibot for thousands of dollars, while thousand dollar estibot appraised names have sold for $XX amounts or less.

Welcome to the domain game as well.

Thank you, alcy, and BasedBeyond.

Do either of you guys know if there is a site (or sites) that allow me to push out a domain I'm selling across multiple marketplaces at once? (eg: I've heard that Afternic does this...any others Im not thinking of?)

Thanks for the warm welcome also :)

Last question ;)

Can you recommend where to buy 4L.com domains for relatively less?

Thank you very much.

Since there's so much liquidity in 4L domains you'll have to shop around and find ones that are undervalued. Best bet would be the forums - such as this one - or the drop catcher services/auctions such as Namejet, Godaddy, etc.

Also check out Namebio's blog for their domain discovery posts, they sometimes have some gems there.

Cosign Alcy on LLLLSales.com - great site to see historic value of names and combinations. Also check out BenMi.com for the overall trends on this short liquid domains - might also give an indication in future of when to back out of them.

Hope this helps - all the best.
