Which .mobi to develop next?

HI All,

I may of posted this before, but i forget where it is and this is in more detail, and I appolagize for makeing a new thread if I did.

Anyway I want to get another nice .mobi out there very soon (I'm itching), and I am confused on which one to do and my budget is kind of limited at the moment until I liquidate some things. But at the same time I want to devlope it as a long term site with expansion capabilites and at first make it simple.

The names are listed below, all coments greatly appreciated!

Blings (eventualy want to sell hip hop ringtones, but I may just start a simple forum with some free rap ringtones on it to get the buz around and eventuly make it a hip hop news site with ringtones for underground artists)

BYOBlist Just listing NY,PHilly and Jerzey shore of BYOB restaurants and liquor stores initialy, I already have a list of 600 in a word file, there maybe only around that number. The main problem is converting it to sql or excel and I don't know how to do it

Zem.mobi (any suggestions, the accronym means Zero Emmsisions, so I guess I would turn it into some kind of environmetalist forum, or some kind of tarrot reading? The name sounds like a gypsy.

Johny (Some kind of portal site that links other sites or something) Just bought the name yesterday and think I could brand it easily, especialy if launched soon, johny is a common name for common things "johny on the spot ect.." Plus its my confirmation name/middle name

Sportcast (Just listing basic sport scores though a feed)

iPad (mobile note pad, but worried about apple, but they dont own a trademark for it and i didn't buy it in badfaith)

Liable a lawyer search or somekind of law forum where people can discuss liabilty or something. Or have something to do with home owners insurance. Basicly I think if I develope this and build some traffic, I may get some nice offers down the road.

Modified (a forum for motorsport enthusiast, drag racing, stock cars, maybe offer live scorring on events in a feed.)

Beatitudes (a religious forum of jesus with links ect..)

WorldReligion (a religious forum an facts about the religions in the world, but this may be a heated up site and therefore may need to change my name lol)

Brian, I'm fond of Blings.mobi. I think it's a nice name for the genre of ringtones you mentioned. Once it's easy to buy stuff on a phone you could also sell phone dress up junk like skins and faceplates, assuming you can find an affiliate program to work via mobi for this stuff.

Took the words right out of my mouth. This would probably be the best to develop right now, and the domain is catchy. Only problem you might run into is keeping such a site legal (due to copyrighted ringtones, etc).

Yup, thats why I would just list some free generic ringtones or affiliate with a company, where there isint too much out of my pocket, But I think I got to wait until the payment is better ect....to sell or maybe have someone make some up for me, For example, I did bussiness with a rapper from philly that has some albums out and produces and he sang an eagles theme song. So, maybe I can have him put out some beats or something at first or someone similar, and in return I will give him free advertising for his album ect...

Sorry for the edit...But on the home page of MSN.com Today (which I just saw a min ago)...... Saturn has an ad on there and guess what they mention in it? The ad starts out with jewlery and and knuckles and then mentions "Rethink Bling and then shows saturn's new SUV!" I think I made up my mind lol, that was a quick answer, I didint see that one coming

I think perhaps, if I was in your shoes, I'd seriously consider:

Putting up Beatitudes real fast.. great keyword for search engines mobiles to link off to your other projects/sites..

Remember, with religion or your passion spiritually (source of joy), you can live your dreams.. if you go after the "money first" route Dot Mobi, it could be possible that when other corporations jump the mobile bandwagon with much deeper pockets for marketing to dominate your genre and marketshare as the notoriety "first mover".. if you can be the first mover now, you would need lotsa extra cash..

But in your joy, there might not be a corporate monger there.. and you can flourish.. remember the new economy is on the mobile phone.. virtually, united all currencies from the American Dollar to the Chinese Currency,,

If WorldReligion.mobi is an umbrella, virtuoso lyricist angles synergy projection, spiritual adrenalin source, we could all link together, than you can garner hits from India's 1 Billlion+ people figuratively on the Bhagavad Gita section; or, whatever your path is.. this is just an example, of how a noble venture no longer has to be a "non profit" entity.. and still transform the world..

infact I can probably put up beattudes by my self with mobisitegalore this week, it won't be hard, and get the site running and link it. I just got to pay godaddy there $3.99 to host it.

yeah I believe so, I have my dunce.mobi there and thats what they have been charging me. But the cool thing is that, I can pay by month and cancel at any time.

As you develop more sites you will be able to save money by getting a hosting plan that will handle multiple domains. I use 1and1.com for hosting and I can host as many as 200 external domains for $14.99/mo, which also includes reg fees for 5 domains. They have cheaper plans than that as well. They are not alone in providing this type of service, maybe even godaddy does it as well, I don't know. Hopefully other members will chime in with some options and if MovingConcierge sees this he will likely tell you how bad 1and1 is from his own experience but I've had a good experience so far.

Thanks Scandi I will defintly look into it, that would save me some cash, and also with go dady, they say you get 50 email accounts but there only 25mb of space I believe. But I would rather have 1 or 2 email accounts with much more storage

Thanks Dental, and I think I could get live scores easiy right though some kind of feed? And then get some kind of blog created for peoples input and brand then brand the name.

I like sportscast as well...covers a large area of a very popular pastime with may possibilities. On the hosting, I'm using Hostgator. For 9.99 a month, you can host 100 sites, have email addresses, very good stats, ect...and when I signed up a few months ago, they had a special of the first month for .99..hard to beat with good support, IMHO :D
