I wonder which is better between

1) Past tense form "--ed" of a verb e.g. managed.com

2) Present continuous " --ing " form of a verb e.g. managing.com

Managing is anytime better than managed in this case.

Loved.com
Loving.com

Its really a close one, but I think at least in the cases I keep thinking of, present continuous seems to be better.

I prefer managing.com.

"Past tense" domains have much less potential, generally ... in my experience. :red:

Past tense domains allude to "in the past" whereas present continuous alludes more to now and going forward into the future. The latter in most cases.

If you can relate a 'past tense' domain to something in the past it can work well. Sounds obvious I guess but not possible for all verbs.

loved.com - great for a memorial/tribute site etc
telephoned.com - hard to see an obvious use for this one.

It depends on the word but in the above, I'd prefed Managed.com as it could be great for a Managed Fund company.

I dont know if they are still in business, but managed.com use to be a big hosting company.
In these terms it sounds better than managing, as, your server is 'managed' by them.
It is a close call, and depends on the verb IMO.
