Which Headphones to Buy?

So I'm looking to purchase a pair of quality headphones, but at the same time not bust my wallet. I listen to mostly death/heavy metal and rock, and I like my music rich with bass. I have a Creative Zen Vision:M 30gb, so if anybody has any personal headphone experiences with that MP3 player, please share.

I need earbud headphones, either inear or normal earbuds are fine. I've actually never had inear headphones, what is your feedback on them? I also like my music loud so the headphones shouldn't be too quiet.

I currently have some crappy $5 pair of sony earbuds. I was looking specifically at V-MODA Bass Freq Earbuds or Shure earbuds (like E2C or SEclass).


What are your suggestions? Must be $100 or less, please.

i heard on the tv news that if you like loud music you should not use buds, instead the regular large headphones. It helps keep the sound from getting too concentrated.
