What? Onion links have no value unless the contain a special word, and even then, they aren't worth much.

Maybe some "domains" really needed to access deep web.
For example the potus candidate Hillary's torture of a kid can be found on dark web, but can't be published on normal sites, because it would be a crime.
Or, something can be illegal in some country (cbd in Spain? or bitcoin in China?), and you can still trade them on dark web. And your dark site may require a such hns "domain".

Of course there is no value in that domain, but it is being used anyway.

Any buyer buying a domain for "Tor use" is potentially of interest to the authorities...not everyone does shady stuff on Tor, but a good chunk do with regards to illicit discussions, drug trade and so on. Niche market, I'd be surprised if you found any worthwhile value. IMO
