This is the same every year it seems,I remember when a cabbage patch doll was royalty that one christmas year,Tickle me elmo aswell,Never have been able to understand it all,Other than consumers that get thier hands on them make 5X to 10X the msrp price selling these products on ebay and in news papers.Iam calling santa again about this matter :talk: :lol:

We had a sundry shop when Cabbage Patch dolls were popular and it was impossible to get the real thing.. our distributor supplied us with knock-offs which were near duplicates of the real thing. Made alot of kids happy that year who mostly didn't care it wasn't a "Cabbage Patch".

Thank you for the kind words dave,They had several stores,Like those outlet mall stores that sold those knock off cabbage patch dolls here aswell,I thought it was an excellent gesture,All the kiddos that wanted one,Got one,And they looked as close to the genuine doll as could possibly be made,I couldn't tell the difference.

I can't believe that given the very same rush for the original xbox, that they (Microsoft) is providing such poor service to all the pre-order customers this time around. And don't they have access to that information? Well either way... I am glad I am not in the position to have to disappoint anyone this year by not having one under the tree. :D

I'd personally wait for it to calm down a bit.

I have heard that the ones that are out now still have alot of errors, especially with overheating.

I would give them time to release a new, more stable version.. By the time they do that, you will most likely be able to buy them at a retail store without any problems.
