Ok as you all know, Texandemocrat has been my baby project. I have been approached with some offers and what not. I have decided that I will let everyone come and get a crack at ownership.

It's earning 15-25 dollars a day with adsense and it has at least on average about 500-800 uniques a day. I also have about 60 articles left that I will continue to post. I have some registrations. It's gotten recognition from a news channel because of the upcoming convention, Sept. 1-4th. If the blog is selected, you get to go to the convention, all expenses paid. (50 bloggers from all over, they prefer one blogger from each state)

I have gotten offers ranging from $850-$27,000.

I have another site beforeelections, its earning alot and actually getting great traffic so I am not out of my fix for politics.

I guess my main questions that I'd like to ask the community..

Where do I sell it?

What should I set the reserve price for?

Should I use Ebay?

How do I protect myself in the event of a sale?

Is it true you can get ripped off in escrow?

Thank you for any comments or ideas you guys bring to the thread.

J

why only list it in one place, list it at all the places you can find (tho sitepoint is prob the best place to sell nicely developed site)

if you dont know how much you want for it put it as open to offers with a bin to be set later

Ok so I am thinking a price but what would be unreasonable?

I'll just do the trial and error

I have had the best results at SP for selling higher priced sites it does cost a bit but the buyers seem to be there by the hand fulls also if you make a big sell you may wanna have a look at using escrow.com for a safer transaction with the funds. :imho:

I can only speak about when I used them. my transactions all went very smooth and its really the only way I will sell a high priced site or domain unless ofcourse I know the buyer.
