Is there a consensus on the best place to park your urls for the highest returns?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

No consensus ;)
Fabulous ads on the top of the forum, of course, support NamePros so they are my temporary favorite.
Domain Hop is good at increasing the 'ol CTR typically
Domain Sponsor has some high CPC ads that rotate through
and SEDO is generally considered to be best for also listing for sale.
Check down in the "PPC" folder for lengthy conversations on which one is preferred.

Do you have domains that will get a significant amount of traffic ... and how many do you plan on "parking" for that purpose, IYHO? :talk:

For the past month, I've been trying Sedo, Domainhop, and DomainSponsor
I took around 4 domains to test it out, and firstly parked at Sedo for a month
Could say that what I was earning was really little even though there were around 20 or 30 uniques a day. Then I switched to DomainHop, but somehow on the 2nd day they suspended my account for a reason unknown. Now I'm with DomainSponsor and all I can say is ... What I earn one day is even more than what I earn on Sedo one month.

Just my personal experience, it really varies between different domains and people. Do some experimenting and you'll be able to find one that's suitable to you. Good luck!

All of the sites are mortgage or real estate related. I only planned on linking them to my main site that "currently" does not have any paid links on it. As far as the traffic to be generated, I have no idea. One domain is zerodownmortgageguide.com.

i would use domain hop cause they pay you based on views ($.004 per view) which seems to be a little but its more then the amount of clicks you usually get... plus if you get more clicks then views, it will do whichever makes you the most revenue... im not sure what they pay 'per click' though you may want to go check it out http://www.domainhop.com

It depends on whether you are hard-working or lazy. If you are hard-working, you would do up a landing page with affiliate links and some juicy content to get people interested in converting off your affiliate links. Most people with thousands of domains find it too much work, and rather feed off PPC for what its worth.

Whole swaths of prime .COM namespace is now in the quagmire of the PPC weed, which is gradually killing the usefulness of .COM as a navigation device.

Fabulous is the best IMO, but you must have a portfolio of over 50 domains to apply, and it's a private program. The best "public program" IMO, is Domain Hop. It pays a guaranteed rate of $4/1000 impressions, with the potential to earn more. My domains earn an average of .28 per click thru there.
