Where do trafficz get their figures from?

Is anyone else having problems with trafficz?
Firstly their new site is horrible, the colour scheme the layout ect? Well that's just my opinion.

The real problem is the figures they show in a day and then how they change after an update.

I have around 3500 domain parked with them, prior to the update it shows me on anywhere between $400 - $1200 for that day, after the update it goes down to $30 - $90 for that day.

I can understand that the estimates change but not by this amount surely.

What is crazy is the follow, here are to strange examples

One of my domains yesterday shows this

pedoshop.com 0 0 158 10 0% $ 0.43 $ 0.04 0 $ 0.00 $ 0.43 $ 0.00


0 landings 0 unqiues, yet 158 search and 10 clicks earning $0.43 total.

This is one a a few that earned money with no landings. I know, I know, I shouldn't be comlpaining it's in my favour. However there are many other domains that should be earning which are not.

I have skin-treatment.com parker with them. A great domain I am sure you will agree. Around 500 landings a months of which over 400 are uniques.

My key words are "skin treatment, skin care, acne"

So how on earth or anywhere else do I just get 1 click in 6 months for such a generic domain????

If it was pointing to anything relating to kids then I would fully agree, but this is actually pointing to a sock trading page. It's better pointing to a page like this safe from the hands of anyone else that would you the domain for sick purposes.

Any other comments relevant to my intial question would be appreciated.

jooster - I agree with you about the color schemes, they could be much better.

I had a name last week at trafficz that showed $36 with 0 uniques but it was later updated to -0 -. The day before it made $13.96 without any adjustment. I am not sure how their stats work.

I do like their templates. The real estate one is excellent and I like the tiles. You can also insert your meta keywords, meta description and add your own content on some of the templates.

Try Fabulous if you want to change.

what's your average cpc rate for financial domains?

I have a domain that is doing pretty well with traffic but would move it if I can get better elsewhere.

Do you think domain sponsor will pay higher than this

it's hitting $350 in 9 days, I would say it's going to do around $1200 a month.


This is why I can't understand why skin-treatment.com isn't doing something on 400 uniques a month.

If anyone can offer me anything to develop this site in the way of a partnership so that it can bring in some revenue let me know.

I see much growth for Trafficz, nice new offices, flying all over the place. Paying to host big domain conventions in expensive cities far away.

I also see things like this, two days ago one name of mine makes $15.00, next day the click price it gets is reduced to $1.26. Where did the money go? A rep will tell you where it went, but you won't understand.

The words to explain is, mumble jumbo, hocus pocus, here is your money for your nice traffic name.. the other money shown is.. poof, gone!

If you ask me these managers and reps can stay home next time theres a convention and quit hosting them too. Maybe then they would have enough money to give us their partners a fair shake.

Yes, I also keep going to the old manager, I don't understand why they tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

I have now sent them several mails to try and get to the bottom of these stats discrepancies and just don't get a reply, I wonder if we could also get trafficz to join the thread as sedo and parked.com have official threads.

Maybe a specific fourm could be opened which would contain a thread for each of these main parking companies and an official from each company could join.

When they are publicly interegated we seem to get a better reply from them.

So, if there is anyone from trafficz are you also brave enough to join?

I wondered why all the hype about this company, even many people offering to buy the account. I got an account pointed 800 names to them and after my numbers settled, POOF I was gone, never to return and never wanting to.

I was actually contacted from several people wanting to use my account while one of them wanted to use my names and the account and offered me thousands of dollars per month. Even though I had quit using it I of course turned them down.

This person told me they controlled thousands of accounts and made millions of dollars per month. If true, That's probably at least one place where your revenue is going. That's the kind of thing ruining the parking industry, while some of us are happy to pay our bills and make an okay living others are making millions per month from click fraud.

There is an interview with Ammar Kubba the founder of TrafficZ in the Feb issue of Modern Domainer. He was born in Baghdad, moved to London and then LA. Started his first business at age of 10. Has a law degree. Got involved in domain names in the late 90's. Trafficz was the first parking company. Launched LeaseThis.com in 2007.

According to the article 5.0 version will raise the bar for all other monetization programs.

I have been with Trafficz for over a year now. I like the upgraded templates they have introduced in that time, but really hate the new control panel. I couldn't believe they went to white type on a dark ground which graphic designers seem to love even though it is well known to be w-a-y more difficult to read. Like others here, I keep popping back to the "old manager" all the time.

I have also been seeing quite odd numbers recently, like 0 uniques and 300+ searches etc. The $$$ look great and then by the next day it's down to $1.49.

I would love someone from Trafficz to comment in this thread about the awful new control panel and wacky numbers.

I sure looked forward to the Traffic convention, thinking they would get to the bottom of this parking problem for domainers. I thought, awesome a few high profile domainers who are heavy into parking are going to take the bull by the horns. I also thought soon domainers will get much more revenue because this thing called transparency is getting addressed and somehow the parking companies will either volunteer to show us exactly what they recieved per click and then show us our cut. Or they would be somehow forced to provide transparency.

Lol, the only thing that I see these high profile domainers really addressed is a completely different subject as regards parking transparency. I see them not commenting about how to implement either honest or verifiable stats for us domainers to actually see what a advertiser paid the parking company that is our partner, but I see they are only discussing transparency thru the eyes of the advertiser.

Well thats fine for the advertiser and in the long run better for us too. But it in no way addresses the issue we see with Trafficz or other parking companies, that is we have no way of knowing what the hell was earned for a click we may have recieved .05 cents for.

So fellow domainers as far as I can tell we are no better off with parking companies and will not know if the crumbs we are thrown are any kind of fair shake to us.

Don't waste your time discussing problems coming from parking companies like this until we see we are being told the truth. Until that day the only explanation for traffic stats is going to be veiled.

Not much Trafficz will say Imo, as I have asked them in the past why when I get high paying clicks they show for the day and then the next day my dollars turn magically into pennies. Lizzy told me the ppc revenue were adjusted because the hocus pocus part of the parking magic show was taking place. Well those were not her words but in my mind it was all mumble jumbo to me.



I wish I knew for a fact though when I get a $6.50 click and the next day I get credited for .62 cents that I am getting my fair shake. Now if that $6.50 was really mine and thru some kind of shaving I was credited with .62 cents I may rethink the idea that I have some kind of partnership.


Hi Lizzy, my question, with all the talk of transparency at your highly supported Traffic convention recently you would think the domaining industry would be making some kind of progress toward a interface program where all parties can see the monies earned.

It seems to me after all the focus from Rick S. about transparency and that being the theme for the Traffic show domainers would be put in the loop. What is very unusual is Rick has been talking about the advertiser benefiting from transparency. I want to say wait a minute my concept of transparency is not much so the advertisers can receive better traffic, although that benefits domainers in the long run. My idea of what transparency was to be addressed is domainers having the ability to see what a click was actually earned.

Can you tell me if Trafficz plans on being in partnership with domainers by having verified click payouts from the advertiser?.

I don't know if this is relevant or not but TrafficZ is 50% revenue share.

Maybe the original number is an educated "guess" by TrafficZ, then it gets readjusted upstream by Yahoo, then their 50% commission, then your monies.

I am a member of Trafficz and have seen my clicks go from $6 down to $.70 or so.

Maybe it is best to see their $.03 clicks turn upwards into $2-$7 clicks ???

Are you sure about that number?? Maybe that is the starting revenue share for those with the absolute worst accounts. That is what other companies start at. I know that Keith at Sedo has stated that the starting share for regular Sedo users (not Sedopro) is 50%, and it goes up from there. I would be shocked if that is a standard revenue share that everyone is getting at Trafficz.
