Where could I buy fake USMC gear?

Me and my friends were thinking to make a short movie about the marines and we were wandering where to buy fake usmc gear. I searched ebay but all i could find was this cool fake body armor (but it was only 1 in stock) for $25.99 and shipping was like $35...and i also found helmets, but they were actually original kevlar helmets and were too expensive. So i`m wandering if there is any online shop offering fake gear for a decent price (something like under $250 per kit - helmet, clothes, body armor, backpack, boots, gloves etc.), and also realistic looking toy m4s, m16s, m9 pistols and grenades. I hope there is a shop that sells this kind of stuff because we really want to make this movie. Oh and it would be great if the shop has international shipping. Thanks!

Best bet is to try thrift stores, army surplus outlets, and costume shops. You might also just try contacting a local armory and telling them of your plans and see if they won't loan you what you need.

Problem with stores is they have a limited budget.. while you can apply for loans and grants, it's often more expedient to beg, borrow or steal You can also try local community theater groups and college art departments for loans of props.

Yeah i tryed, problem is local theaters don`t have USMC gear repros, they don`t even have romanian army repros lol. Yeah your right, i need to dress up 7 people to look like marines and i don`t have hollywood budget...

You can probably fake it fairly easily.. don't forget.. you can get patches and insignia at surplus stores.. the uniforms can be gotten by way of thrift stores. As long as things aren't seen too closeup, you may get by.
