Hi!

I have a website and I'm am an affiliate for some websites. I have many places I am advertising on and I would like to know where are the people who sign up comming from. How can I check this? I've heard that there are some programs called hit counters / performance trackers but I'm not quite sure that these do what I need them for. Where can I find these programs?

I hope you can understand my question.
Thank you for helping :hehe:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

1 of the better programs for this type of thing is Google AnalyticsGoogle Analytics. This of course will not show staff from the past but after you place their code onto your page it will help you find these sort of things out.

You could also look in your stats from your web host if they provide any, this will show a list of referrers but it will most likely be harder tracking which of these provided the actual sign up.

Peter gave an excellent advice. If you want to check all your previous statistics, login in your control panel, and look for stats/statistics, whatever they call it.
They should provide awstats or webalizer.

umm that's not what I'm looking for. thanks thou.
I already have analytics.

What I want is the following. I advertise my website on several advertising newtworks. I have 8 sign-ups daily. I want to know EXACTLY which is the source the signed-up members are comming from.

Difficult to know where the signups came from, if you don't setup a different url/tracking url in each advertising network.
