ok I'm getting quite concerned with my site. I hardly get any money, but I am slowly but surely working my way towards $100 when I'll receive my first cheque. However, I've noticed on some days I am getting CTR's, anywhere from 3% to 7%. (This is with 2 to 4 clicks/day, I don't get a huge amount of traffic to my site). This is quite a good CTR, right? I am a bit concerned about it being an abnormally high CTR rate, due to somebody repeatedly clicking on the Ads...I don't want to get my account closed...

I was just wondering if, then when google cancels your account? will they wait until you make $100 and then turn around and say sorry, your account has been banned, or if they notice any suspicious activity before you've reached the $100 will they cancel your account at any time?

I have read posts form people who's accounts got banned, and I have been extreemly careful with making sure I abide by all of googles TOS..

The big problem with any of the large internet companys (Google, PayPal, ebay to name a few) is that they have the right to cancel accounts with pretty much no explanation at all. I have heard some real horror storys.

But in my opinion they are few and far between, you should be fine mate. Sounds to me you are sensible.

Keep plugging away and hope that God looks after you on the net. :)

good good - one other thing - I read somewhere if you do get banned from google, you're also automatically banned from bitvertiser, and other ad programs...is this true?

No, that isn't true. Google isn't related to bidvertiser or other ad programs.

Also, most of the time I've heard they cancel your account when you request payout. That's when they inspect your account, unless it's obvious, like 100% CTR or something.

Well Google usually suspends people if they find someone clicking on ads just to get money and Google usually sends out warnings. My friend had got suspended but Google unsuspended them a couple days later then yesterday Google said that they are getting clicks that are not real clicks. People are just clicking the ads to get money and if this continues they will lower her CTR. She got lucky that Google didnt suspend her account. That's the bad thing about Google but if you stay away from clicking your own ads then you should be fine.
