Is there anything that can be done to speed things up. it was my understanding that it would take 2 months. shesh, i thought the system would be set up a little better.

Most of the time, 60-90 days seems to be about right for names I monitor, but there is no guarantee or set time limit. I've seen some drop sooner than expected, and some stay in limbo for 6-12 months. I know it can be frustrating.

Qbert, you are right at the 60+ day point, so keep your eyes glued on that name to be safe.

Good luck. :)

Its kind of crazy........

Couldnt they give us all a break, and release it a SET amount of days after?

Actually, this setup is to the advantage of small-fry domainers like most of us. If it were a fixed-number-of-days kind of setup, then you can bet your *** that Pool et.al. will be there ensuring that we pay end-user prices. Unlike us, *they* don't have the luxury of checking the same domains everyday, only those they know are dropping.

So True - If they know the actual expiration/deleted time - They grab it automatically ~
