Hi All.

I have about 6 hosting accounts on usa reseller with cpanel that I host for friends, but they are down more times than up, a friend of mine has a uk reseller no cpanel that he said I could share, what's the best way to transfer everything over, 2 of the sites are huge. 5gb and 2gb space used, is there a way to transfer them over fast...

The short answer is no.

If you have shell access you could tar the files and then wget them from the new server but I imagine that you probably don't. You're pretty much going to need to FTP the files over and that will take some time.

hey CrazyTech yes i do have SSH/Shell Access on both resellers but I have no clue what to do :D

You're just concerned with the actual website files and any MySQL DBs, correct?

tar the public_html directory on your old server.
wget the file from the new and extract it.
Remember that you may have to change dir names after you untar it. That depends upon the setup that your friend has.

MySQL DBs should be able to be transferred through phpMyadmin.

yes m8, i just want to transfer everything over in the public_html folder, how much would you charge to do this m8 as i really haven't got a clue..tehres 2 accounts one is 5220 M and the other is 1840 M, I can transfer the rest easy enough...
