I've got a few remaining domains from my old domaining days. I have not been involved in domain for a few years now and so have lost a sense of the valuing domains. So, I'd like to put up the last few domains I have for auction. May I know which site is the best to auction off domains? Thanks for your replies.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

You could try sedo.com. However, this website only works if you have a valuable domain, because they will take $50 or 10-15% of what you sell the domain for, whichever is the larger amount. Also, it can be hard to get a domain on the auction pages, as you must have someone place a bid on the domain first. So if people do not know that your domain is up for grabs, it will never be sold. I think your best bet would be to post the domain on forums, such as this one and domainstate.com, and then sell it on your own.

where, depends on quality of your domains and what your expected roi is.

auctions in general, are for those who are liquidating, but i suggest you get some free appraisals first or post for sale seeking offers.

this way, maybe you can get idea of interest and value.

i also suggest you list the names on sedo, with "make offer" setting.

imo...

Of Sedo, Afternic, GoDaddy, GoDaddy has been the best for me.

Of course, Godaddy as you don't have to pay any fee if you are going to list your domain name in 7-day auction.

Sounds like your names aren't really premium. Everyone else is telling you to go with Sedo but I have a feeling this isn't what you're looking for. You aren't looking to list them and then sit around and wait for someone to come make an offer before you can actually send it to auction.

I would suggest you consider bundling them together and then listing them in an auction on Flippa. Aside from there, you could consider listing them on Namepros and other boards although you will be getting mostly reseller offers from these places.
