But what happened with the .net and .org?

Do you think they have a value ?

though there are always isolated exceptions,in general and at this time, they really have no value above registration fee.

all LLL.co are taken and probably all LLL.pw and all LLL.mobi, and all LLL.info and all LLL.us and all LLL.biz, but how many are selling above reg fee now?

even though we're talking about nnnn, it's same scenario you're alluding to.

still, I've sold names like 10000.org for $,$$$ in the past, but these are what you call exceptionals to the current status quo of those category of domains.

so maybe something like 1000.net or 1000.org would be appealing, but a random 4512.org or .net may not.

that's the chance you'll take by speculating on them.

Are you sure about the stats you've provided? I believe you are wrong about the LLL availability in given extensions, but it doesn't really matter.

However, I am checking weekly, and nnnn.net domains are all taken.
From what I've seen, there is a resale market for nnnn.net names, even if $xx+... Also, they are quiet often backordered/auctioned off on namejet and they do receive bids...

Yes, value of NNNN.nets is picking up.

Everyone will have his/her own opinion, just like they did years ago with NNNN.com domains. I recall a great many mainstream domainers having the opinion that NNNN.com were worthless and nor worth pursuing - while the rest of us were picking them up for $10 at club drop.

For NNNN.net's the recent auction results speak for themselves - in particular those at 4.cn and godaddy auctions.

I sold <8857 dot net> last week for $1500 USD.

NNNN.net are really taking off. I get several emails a day with inquiries as well as daily bids on 4.cn. I believe I could part with most any of them on 4.cn for around $300 each if I was motivated.

I'm holding out for four-figures each going forward. Demand continues to grow. :imho:

Im going to guess and say its because nnnn.coms have gotten out of the price range of most so they have moved onto dot nets and also nnnnn.coms. If I was you I would hold out a few more months before selling anything. Good luck with your names!
