What's going on with domains at the moment?

I've had to stop reading the drop lists as I've got too many unused names at the moment. I picked up 3 names for reg fee that I thought were reasonable. They had been sitting there since yesterday. Are people getting out of .coms at the moment? If so, it seems a great time to do a bit of portfolio building.

No, not getting out of .coms - just being more selective. I, along with many others (see landing page thread), are sitting on a lot of inventory. At this point if I can't develop it, I'm not really buying. Actually trying to sell more names in bulk right now with a developed domain name-selling website.

The last 3 months of the year is normally the slowest time for me.
I'm not looking forward to what's ahead this year.

I decided to get out of pharma, and a couple of the names that I was going to drop got picked up for $10.I only paid reg fee, so that's covered costs at least. It's the non-.coms that seem to be the problem - I guess the ones I want to lose are all fairly low end, so they probably will end up getting dropped. I picked up BitcoinScammer.com which some valuebot site reckoned was worth $140,000+ - I don't know what these bots are smoking, but that seemed a tad high to me.

Perhaps the algo picked up a story of a bitcoin scammer who stole $140,000 and thought it would be cool to spit this number

There is something odd about that name because it throws siteprice into a wobbly - well a resetting loop anyway.

A lot of domains are usable , but not sellable. I mean. the prospective buyer would run like the wind as soon as they find out you are asking money for that domain
