I like to check up on names that I sell. Sometimes they stay parked for years. Some get developed. Some are put up for sale. But . . .
. . . I found one that had dropped. (The name is LoveSox.com) I sold it for $495 but now it was available to register again. I registered it. What would you do?

  • Contact the person and offer them the name back?
  • Put the name back up for sale?
  • Other?

Dont contact the person you sold it to, thats pretty insulting. Simply put a forsale sign on the page, unfortunately for them thats just how it goes.

Justin

BTW - I wouldve pick it up too.

I too, would just put it back for sale.

If the last owner(s) dropped by mistake, they'll be back on to you.

What happened to the domain when this other company/guy had it? Did they develop it? Is it getting any traffic? If so I'd develop a little site on the same topic and monetise some of that traffic...
