$250 dollars that is, not $250k ;)
Not talking big spending, but if you had $250 to plonk on a domain right now where would you go and what sort of domain would you buy?

Let's exclude LLLL.com's as I'm talking about names that have immediate development potential more so than buy and hold.

I would buy a nice two-worder that represents generic descriptive product or service of any business.

If you are going to develop the domain I would get a great one word ccTLD

I would look for undervalued domains in either .net, .org or .info and possibly .mobi.
The .com extension is quite extreme interms of prices as they range from either being very cheap $XX or expensive $X,XXX.

For value I would look for alternatives. :$:

I would go hand reg cashadvances.vc for 40 bucks and then develop into a portal for Venture capital (VC is inital for venture capital) and then youse $210 to drive traffic and make far more than your $250 back

Thanks for the responses

Is it just me or are alot of domains very overpriced on TDNAM?
Not finding anything worth buying in the $250-$500 range there. Wouldnt pay $20 for half of the ones listed.

I bought a $10 domain from tdnam that was better than many of the $250-$500 ones I'm seeing..

He said that he doesn't want any LLLL.com domains.
I suggest try looking for a two letter keyword domain with high potential.

Buy any of these if they give you an idea of development:

1. A 3 character .com domain
2. A 3 Letter .org
3. A 3 Letter .info
4. Premium keyword names in .in / .co.in extension (preferably with traffic)

Buy a few non-premium 4L. This 4L market is only going higher!
