What word to use ?

I have hard time to choose whats best for american market.

forum or board ?
shop or store ?

"Forum" over "Board", IMHO ... and what is the specific niche/product/service for the potential use of either "Shop" and/or "Store"?

Think of them (especially "Shop") as "verbs", as well. :blink:

"Shop"...multiple meanings and usages and it's shorter.
"Forum" is better IMO.

Forum sounds much more democratic whereas board sounds bureaucratic; so, I guess it depends on the mood you are trying to establish.

Shop is certainly the stronger choice becuase, as pointed out above, it serves as a verb also.

same here forum and shop even though if you use board you can change your mind in the future to maybe say its a skateboard company of hardware, it doesnt limit your options as much.

Forum < definetly - usually it also means a meeting, like "The government is holding a public forum"

BUT! I'd go with store I mean shop is just like your buying something, store sounds more professional :P We all say I'm going to the wal mart store. No one says I'm going to the wal mart shop

But that's only if you plan on selling things

I'd also go with 'Store' over 'Shop' simply because it's sounds more professional. 'Shop' reminds me of a smaller establishment. Both are acceptible online.
