I am interested in what sort of security software or tricks you swear by, be they firewalls, child surfing protection software, spam filters, safe surfing rules, domain alarm software etc - anything at all.

Hey guys - thanks for all your responses here. Much appreciated - it looks like folks are pretty keen on making sure that they have antivirus and firewalls set up. What abot other tyoes of software like popup killers and the like.

well i use MyIE2 for a browser and it has a integrated popup blocker . Been using the browser for awhile and I like it . Havent seen a popup while using it

ive got the google toolbar installed, takes me direct to google and omes with a pop up killer
