What name to choose if desired name is busy

Question 1: Situation - your desired domainname.com is busy
What works best (not for domaining) for SEO and branding if you want to develop a website ? :

a. domain-name.com (dash version)
b. thedomainname.com (prefix, postfix using version)
domainnameonline.com
newdomainname.com
mydomainname.com

Question 2: Is there any good list of such a prefixes and postfixes ?

i would choose

domainnameonline.com

after that is

mydomainname.com




or maybe you can add E to the domain name

to be

edomanname.com

it would be more reasonable

is that from go daddy offers when a name is unavailable ?

those are all bad and seems really cheap
if your name is taken and u can not get it , so sometime you just better off finding a new name in stand of having a name that says - " i wish i had a better one - but this is the best i could do "

- that's not exact domain names I want to register
it's just prefix examples like here (200 Prefixes and Suffixes for Domain Names)

I just need to make a choice to use dash or some version with prefix.

It's difficult to answer your question without knowing the actual keyword.

iKeyword.com could work.

it depends on the keyword most of the time "my" could work but for a business i dont think it fits.

As others have said, it depends if the words "my" or "online" fit into the nature of your website.

But I think regardless, assuming the keywords are relatively short, I would personally take the domain-name.com.
