When I bought them
I bought them right when vlog domains started to catch on. Just about everything was available then. Three days later, no premium ones were left. It seems everyone was buying them up. Now there are no more available vlog domains, save for my portfolio.
I was a little surprised to see that no one has been bidding much for my portfolio. These domains are high keyword premium ones. The winner could always keep a few and not renew the rest if he or she wanted to.
The person who wins this portfolio will have one amazing opportunity to develop the domains into sites. It could become an entire business, and right now, it's available all for a little more than the current bid of $6.50.
I bet the guys at seriousmagic.com, makers of vlog-it software, would love to have my domain portfolio. They must be asleep at the wheel.
Just imagine holding on to my portfolio for a year and then selling each one for the price you typically see on the low end of auctions for even the worst of resellable domains - $200 to $300. My portfolio has 111 domains, and at $200 to $300 each, you could see a profit of 20 to 30 grand in a year's time.
You have to admit, my portfolio really does have some pretty good premium keywords. My favorite one is personalsvlog.com. You could flip it into a match.com or myspace.com type site. The same could be said for just about all of these domains.
I have read many posts in domain forums where readers have complained about missing out on the early days of good domain buying, but yet here my auction is, precisely that era, and I only have 4 bids leading up to $6.50. Go figure.
Whomever wins my portfolio will be blessed with a unique opportunity. What he or she does with that opportunity will be up to him or her. What is that famous quote by that millionaire teen from Chicago? "Comfort is the enemy of achievement." How many domainers in this forum are comfortably passing up on bidding in my auction?
Well, good luck if you decide to bid.
