That's true - but i meant it more as a new ccTLD for a possibly new future country / island if this will happen.

.tv is a good example for a ccTLD (Tuvalu) which 'turned' in reality into a 'fake' generic TLD in it's global usage.

So, if a ccTLD .vr would ever come out, I am sure that it will 100 % be more used for VR content at the end than for it's origin purpose.

Then domainers would have a whole new set of extension to speculate (waste money on)

Very smart investments in .io and .cc, I am pretty sure they will have a nice value someday if VR should be establish as predicted; but even if not I would like them.

Thanks mate. The main reason why I bought .io was knowing that a lot of Technology start-ups like and use .io extension
VR tech still has a long way to go...IMO 3-7years is where there will be much more everyday consumer awareness for VR and daily use.

I like VRC.cc - as a hack, VRChina .Crypto Currency. I also got it at a great price.
Many other options - company, casino, care, centre, china

All of these are long term hold 5+ years unless the offer is very lucrative?

Can you probably explain why especially .io became a favourite by 'tech ups'?
It's because I / O = 'on' / 'off'?
Just a personal thought - I get no other connection why this geo TLD is succesfull in tech sites.
