.us What is the expired process for .info, .biz, .us?

I'm trying to find out the process each of these tld's go through when they expire. Here is my best guess:

com,net:
1) REGISTRAR-HOLD (1-45 days)
2) REDEMPTIONPERIOD (30 days)
3) PENDINGDELETE (5 days)

org,info:
1) clientHOLD (1-45 days)
2) Pending Delete - Restorable (30 days)
3) PENDING DELETE SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE (5 days)

biz,us:
1) clientHOLD (1-45 days)
2) pendingDelete (35 days)


Is this correct? If not, can you fill in the blanks?

I dont think so this is right info for .biz domain pending delete because I am waiting for 1 domain to get release i mean .biz domain past 2 months and today 63 days have been passed away but still that domain is not released.

Can any1 please tell me how much time .biz domain which status is pending delete will get released for buying?

I just checked some pendingDelete .biz domains and I believe I should have put 35 days instead of 5 for .biz/.us. So I think that means your domain will be available again on May 31 (this Wednesday).

1 more problem bro, the domain which you told expires on 26th May will be released by 31st of this month.

But 1 domain I just got now which is expired on

Domain Registration Date: Sat Mar 26 23:24:30 GMT 2005
Domain Expiration Date: Sat Mar 25 23:59:59 GMT 2006
Domain Last Updated Date: Sun May 07 04:02:43 GMT 2006

Means 1 day before than the above so it means this one should be available today only. But I just checked now, it is still not available. And for your kind information bro, both domains are .BIZ

So now what is the prob with these .BIZ pending delete domains. When they will be available.

It goes by the 'Updated Date' not the 'Expiration Date'. So that domain will be available on June 11, 2006 (35 days after the Updated Date).

If the status has 'pendingDelete' and the updated date is the same as the other domain then it should drop the same day.

1) For .com and .net domains usually come back on the market between 11:00am-12:00pm PST. NeuLevel owns .biz. I'm not sure what time they start the process each day of changing the status from pendingDelete to Available, but if it's the same Verisign you still have some time.

2) To acquire the domain your best bet is to backorder it. If you think the domain is valuable and are willing to pay at least $60 for it then use pool.com. Or you can go with godaddy.com for $18.95, but you won't have as good of a chance. Pool has over a hundred registrars working on your behalf where GoDaddy only has 3. Or you could just wait and try to register it yourself.

3) That brings up a good point. Does anyone know the times the other registries start dropping expired domains each day:

Verisign (.com, .net): 11:00am - 12:00pm PST
PIR (.org): ?
Afilias (.info): ?
NeuLevel (.biz): ?
NeuStar (.us): ?

Now I have given 1 BackOrder in Godaddy for 1 .NET Domain and its details are

Can you please tell me when this will be available I mean on which day this domain godaddy will grab for me.

I'm afraid you have probably waisted your money with GoDaddy. The domain is in REGISTRAR-LOCK, so it's still taken. You can't make a guess on the drop date until the domain actually expires. What GoDaddy is going to do is monitor the domain and if it ever expires then they will try to pick it up on the drop date. However, the domain may never expire and if it does and it's worth a lot then GoDaddy is not going to be the one to get it. Here are the top backorder services with the number of registrars they have working for them.

1) pool.com – 149
2) Enom Club Drop – 69
3) NameWinner – 60
4) SnapNames - 54
5) Godaddy – 3

The more registrars the service has the better. However, there are ways the service can make more out of an accreditation so it's possible 50 registrars with one service could be better than 70 with another.

As you can see GoDaddy is outnumbered. I recommend not backordering any domains unless they are actually expired. You lose nothing by waiting. There is a special case when you can get a domain before it goes into the expired process and that is called pre-release or partner domains. It is where a registrar makes a deal with the backorder service to auction off their on-hold domains before they let it expire. If you placesa bid then the registrar will give it to you instead of back to the registry to start the expired process. There is a pre-release search at:

If for example today is 11 june than after that day, how much more domains will it take the domain to be available. Please help me out Sir.
