topic = the word for the banner exchange

topicbannerexchange.com?

topictrafficexchange.com?

freetopicexchange.com?

This is a similiar question I asked in a previous thread about the best way to get a topsite domain. What is the best way to have a domain for a banner exchange?

Any input is appreciated as I might start a banner exchange sometime soon.

The domain can be anything.. It's up to you to promote and advertise it, etc.

I don't know if you have a specific use for this banner exchange program but banners are failing day by day. Also there are so many ways to forge the results (especially the free exchange banner systems) that make them not a good option

Hmmm... does anyone else think this is true? I was planning on it being a free to join thing (but you can pay to buy extra impressions). Most likely a 3 : 1 Banner exchange.

Even the most advanced banner exchange systems were abandoned
Popup blockers come with adblockers now
It's so easy to block your ip and never display a banner again
Fake traffic and fake clicking systems can boost a user's account to the sky
The 3:1 (3 for you and 1 for them) were popular at the 1997-1999
After than the 2:1 and after that the 1:1 were the banner exchange rules of that time
I don't have second thoughts for this anymore but as i said before you may have something in your mind different from what i saw from 1994 to make this banner exchange work

Well, I figured that it'd be just an easy way to help get a little more traffic for those members involved.

I've seen a few scripts I was thinking about trying. One being similiar to what is used at this site: onvisitors.com (I saw that site for sale a little while back).

if you're set on dealing with banners exclusively (not a TE), then don't get the TE version.

i would also suggest shortening the name by not using the word "free" and replacing bannerexchange with something like "bannex" or something.

good luck.
