What is Overture score?

[RickyG]

Hello all,
I see this here and there in posts...I know they work hand in hand with search engine, but where do you get a score?

The OVT amount is generally the amount of searches per month a Term or keyword gets at Overture each month - A lot are also using the amount of times a domain with the extension is typed in as well -

It's much better to use the DP tool:
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/

Gives you both the daily Overture and Wordtracker stats.

The wordtracker stats are more reliable because it shows you both the plural and singular searches, Overture doesn't do that so you may be a bit fooled by the results you get there..

Redleg is right. Overture and Wordtracker give you a better picture of a domain's searchworthiness...
