What is GoDaddy's security hosting?

In godaddy's hosting plan, the "firewall protection" is listed. I asked whether SYN type of DDOS is included, I got this answer:

"Unfortunately, we are unable to provide information on our firewall protection for security reasons. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

So are there anyone here who has godaddy hosting? what kind of firewall protection it has?

I think that you will not lose anything with signing up for them and try out everything. If you are happy you will stay if not - move with moneyback. (I believe they do provide 30 day moneyback guarantee)

They have to explain what security protection, they have, so it was unfortunate that they didn't explain it.

You will need some sort of hardware firewall to prevent DDoss SYN attacks efficiently.

Godaddy is good for domain registrtion but not much good in web hosting. I couldnt see any thing that related to firewall protection from their sites.Did you contact them for clearing your doubt?.

they did not want to answer my question straight forward, but they implied that they do have prevention against ddos syn.
