What is best for google, wordpress with html rewrite or just simple html pages?
It's going to be for my t-shirt brand and i need some some top 10 positions for my site.
I will uppdate it about once a week with new posts, so guess i could live without wordpress if i can get better ranking on google.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.US domains.US domains
Both are ok and fine
Important is to have good structure / sitemap and seo friendly links

Wordpress is a good CMS and highly optimized for search engines. Hence, I would advice you to go with Wordpress for your site =)

I also think it would be better for you to go with Wordpress. But remember to achieve and stay in top 10 position making site in wordpress is not enough. You need to work hard for that. Make a search engine friendly site and do proper on page and off page optimization for that. Then you can stay in top 10 position.

PHP is also SEO friendly but you need to do some extra coding to remove some session IDs Where in word press you can have SEO Friendly plugin which generates SEO friendly urls.

Word press is easy to manage and it is fact that Google love Word press so build a website with word press. Customize it according to your need.

HTML is the best. Google index them faster.
PHP can be made SEO too.

I prefer to use html in my practice - it is simplier to use and more liked by Google:)

Google doesn't care about what generated the content.

Google likes two things:

1. Good inbound links with quality descriptions of the destination web page.

2. Good content on the page it arrives at.

If your links are good and your content is good, you and Google will get along fine without regard to PHP or HTML.

i just love spam posts

It's because i managed to get good ranking on some good keywords before with html and not with php. It's not spam to me

In my opinion there is no difference, whatsoever. HTML, PHP or ASP files are treated the same. The extension hardly matters PROVIDED it' just a pure extension.

I agree with Hafsoh, PHP and ASP will still output HTML, so Google will see them the same anyway.

the front end would only be relevant to the user ((developer in this case)). For any search engine, its all irrelevant and does not make much of a difference. Quality Unique content is the only way to get your website rank high in SEO, Another tip is high density relevant keywords.

I am having good success with html. The latest Google webmaster letter I received states the big flashy site days are dead. If people can not find want they want in 20 seconds, 90% of viewers leave. They are actually recommending small basics sites for the best seo.
