Your CTR depends on many factors, and doesn't mean too much directly. If your adds are displayed on content networks as well as for search results your CTR will drop a lot. Furthermore, the more keywords you add to trigger your adds and their value related to your advertisement plays a large part in your CTR.

I would focus much more on conversion ratios than CTRs unless your problem is getting people to actually click your advertisement.

It depends on many factors. For example..

If your are getting 1%-2% CTR for a forum then its quite good.
but If you are getting 1%-2% CTR for a highly targeted niche site then its obviously very low.

Yep it depends. If you have a website that really puts the ads in people's faces without regard to their satisfaction, or not caring if they ever come back, then you can get 25% or more.

I shoot for a happy 3-5% on all non-mini websites with adsense.

i've seen a few domain names on sales here at NP, and i've seen some CTRs between 30% and 35%. i think that is very good. i think 25% and up is very good.60% is terrific. i hope it stays that way for you

Across all my sites CTR is about 1.5% or so, My best site gets about 25% CTR and my worst less than 1%

The amount of clickthru rate depends on your sites topic and the location and blending of the ads plus how many ads you use on each page of the site.

Just because you have 1 or 2% CTR, doesn't mean that you will not get banned if all that is fraudulent then you will get banned.

if you can get a CTR of 5% to 15% then that really great. I think Google looks at your over all CTR not just for that day. the good thing is I've never gotten below 1% ever. well in any case I answered your question!
