I got s5q.com on ebay for $48, Sold it on sedo for $210 = $162 profit.

Cheap4domains.com cost me $8.88, Sold on ebay for $52 = $43.12

I really don't domain much.

I'm trying to stick to coding now. xD
I did make about $100 profit on Clesto.com, but that included the site and domain.

I'm more of a domain service provider than an investor but I have managed to make a few good sales this year.

MedSuit_com - Paid $6.95, sold for $750
DiscussTaxes_com - Paid $6.95 sold for over $500 (I don't have the exact figure handy)
ProxyShop_com - Paid $6.95 sold for around $500 (memory not so good)

I also picked up a .biz with two hyphens in it for $6.95 that averages about $40 a month in PPC revenue. Go figure.

My best sale would have to be 2 .la's- registered for $60 total and sold for $200. I haven't done too well with LLL's but I haven't taken a loss yet.

I'm more of a website developer, and an XHTML/CSS coder. The most successful site I've developed yet is http://darkcenter.net which was sold for $500. I'm now developing an even better site http://arcadeshine.com which is doing very well, and can be sold for even more later in the future!
