What Domain gems turned out to be sour grapes..

Most of us at some point in time, must of miss read an unregistered domain name and for that split second felt that tingly feeling of you’ve landed yourself a profitable name.. Come on own up.. whether you registered it or not…

A couple of years back I excitedly registered..

work.com which after several minutes of feeling chuffed realised it was actually v v o r k.com (oddly enough it’s still in use)

Also I was delighted when I registered www.it (www.www.it) only to be refunded 24 hours later as it’s a prohibited extension.. Bother

About drooled on myself this morning when I found Genealogy.mobi. However after a second look, i realized I typed geneaology.mobi. Good thing I caught myself.

My Google search accidentally had ' on one side instead of ". Thought mantoys com had a return of 75,000,000 (instead of 68,000). About fell over myself buying it...then realized my mistake.

When I was a lot more ignorant a few years ago I thought I had got a bargain with www.org until I realised it was really w w v v .org.
