What Does this status mean?

Hey all,

I am watching a domain, has some good rankings in search engines, alexa, good est. traffic, and a drop service tells me it drops today. But the whois is showing it expires next year. I was about to give up, but then I saw this in the whois information:

Status:INACTIVE
Status:PENDING DELETE SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE

this was from whois.domaintools.com, so it seems viable, but what does this mean?

It should mean it is about to be deleted / dropped

Well, looks like godaddy's backorder service got it, as the registrant appears to be domainsalert, using godaddy registrant info.

The domain was twnet.org. Better luck for me next time

.org domains always show expire dates in the future. The registry adds one year to the expire date a day after it expires. You can find out more about this at pir.org, if you are interested.

It would drop six days after the last update date.

Also, keep that godaddy backorder on. The new owner could be tasting it for a few days then if/when it drops, GoDaddy will pick it up.

They are good at that since no other drop services keep trying after the initial drop, at least I don't think any keep monitoring.
