What do you think of a 2-worder product domain as a .org???

I found an absolutely incredible 2-worder super HOT product domain in the .org extension.
I know .org stands for "organization" and usually means non profitable/charity orginization but I'm not sure if these types of domains have been or can be used as a product name???

I am not sure if there have been any true .org product domain sales or not.

Your thoughts/opinions please.

In general product related domains are a much better fit in COM/NET than .ORG

Ahhh,
Those categories do make sense in the org extension.

Yeah, I haven't regged it.
I didn't think it was a great idea, but I wasn't 100% sure.
I dont think I will.

Lately a lot of names are being regged, sold and bought in .org. If a geo name can have value as a .org, I can't see why a "super HOT product" can't have more than reg fee for value. Of course you know the name, and what your intentions would be for it, be it selling it or developing it, but I'd go with it if it was a 'good name'. Especially if all other extensions were taken. JMO.

Education is another that works. And organizations aren't necessarily non-profit - would it make any sense for there to be an organization extolling the virtues of this product? Collectors, hobbyists, enthusiasts?

Can add: open source, programming and development, in general everything related to science and knowledge sharing.

.org is for sure an important player that should not be underestimated. However product names and highly commercial keywords does not fit .org to well. IMHO gambling keywords are an example of words that does not fit .org

If the .com it's not available, I always go with the .ORG, I don't like the .net, I have "keyword".org and "same keyword".net and the .org gets more traffic, and the keyword it has nothing to do with the fields named in this thread...
