What do My Alexa Stats Mean?

Hi all. I checked my stats on Alexa and it seems im listed, but i dont understand what it means.

That means you are ranked 2,932,379 out of all the sites that users go to that have the alexa toolbar installed on there browser.

you need to be at least in the top 100,000 or less as pointed out by gurudaq.com but take it only as a guide to profitability and value of your domain not as the final decision on how much it is. HTH

I wouldn't pay too much notice to your alexa ranking anyways, it doesnt mean much :imho:

Yep, it only means the person visiting your websites who have alexa toolbar installed on their browser and the proportion of such people is quite less, so dont pay too much heed on crappy stats

it doesn't mean alot ... i don't pay much attention to it.... just look at your google PR those are the stats which can get your domain a lil high price

I have a site which is getting descent traffic and still the laexa is 92,000.

I am in first 100,000 but no big deal about it.

The lower your rank on Alexa.com the more traffic you are getting.

We are getting around 300-500 visitors per day so if your site is 2,932,379 I would be guessing you are getting only 10 or so visitors per day...

As your traffic increases your Alexa rank will drop meaning you are getting more traffic.
