about middday (gmt) couldnt get on the site then it loaded very slowly and got a database error message

anyone else get this or was it just me?

Namepros was loading slowly for me all morning.. seems to be working ok right now tho..

yeah I had a database connection screen or someting pop up for 20 min or so

Same here. I was unable to reach the forum today for about 15-20 minutes. Most of the time I got a "database error" and the rest was just a dead page. Everything seems back to normal now.

When you get the database error page DONT keep reloading. Wait a while and try again. Everytime that page loads RJ gets an email.. youll all flood his email :P

Tell me about it, never nice getting 80 emails at once all of a sudden.

I ran VB on a site a year ago and when the database went down one night the server/cpanel couldnt restart it auto for some reason. I work up with well over 1,000 error emails LOL

I was pissed at mysql and then all the emails. :P

I thought it was down for several hours!? I got some error page in the morning and when I came back 'round 9pm I got the same message.
