Can a .org really have a 10 month deletion cycle?
Someone please help me decode this weird .org status:

(directly from pir.org)

Last Updated On: 01-Jan-2004
Expiration Date: 21-Nov-2004
Status: PENDING DELETE - SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE
Status: HOLD

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It says HOLD meaning theres some sort of dispute, I'm thinking someone tried to register it but the real owner is disputing it?

"real" owner? It's not a trademarked name... hmm...

is there a place to lookup current WIPO disputes?

sorry not so sure on where you could find a dispute DB.

I could just be completely wrong too.

Just to update (and close) the thread, that .org with the dates shown above dropped today and I caught it MANUALLY, woohoo! (name was taken in every TLD and most ccTLDs)

So now we know PIR (.org) is just goofing when they say:
Expiration Date: 21-Nov-2004
or
Status: HOLD

as long as it says "pending delete", its about to drop....
