I couldn't believe this was the only TLD of westwing that was available. Even www.thewestwing.tv was taken and being used.

Search numbers for westwing are good. Seems to have obvious value and name recognition with the TV show. What about the prospects for using this as a political channel?

Welcome any ideas and thoughts on this purchase?

West Wing was a decent show, for the first couple of years. Still, a good political domain, not sure about TM issues though, or if someone will try to acquire it once you've built it up a bit.

I have stayed away from names like this, amazingrace.tv but I passed because of the lack of development oppertunities. In all reality the only ones that could use this name is the "Amazing Race", same goes for this domain. I would ask for my money back and delete the domain, Maybe Donald can do that for you!

westwing is a well established entity of the white house. This name relates to the presient and presidential politics, just becasue there was a show of that name doesn't mean that the old TV now has a tradmark on a big part of american history.

This may very well be, but defending this arguement may be more trouble than its worth. Why? Because its in the .tv extension, it really seems as though you are trying to associate West Wing with TV. Just my opinion, but I would guess that is how alot of domainers think as well. If alot of other domainers think this way then it will be difficult to find a reseller to buy it, and you most likely wont find an end user for it either. Of course this is just my opinion, I want you to do well with it, I just dont see any prospects for it.
