Hello friends, I have a domain name NativeAdvertising.org . Few days ago i got an offer of $ 300 on this domain from a very well reputed native advertising company. I can't disclose a company name but when i saw an email address i came to know its from a well reputed company. Kindly advice what to do ?

How much is the Native Advertising company worth? Do they have positive Cash Flow? What is the position in the company who sent you the email? So the first thing to do is, Do your research.

Congrats on the offer. Not many reported sales for either keyword in the .Org extension. Counter close, seal the deal, and on to the next, IMO.

I would not have expected much out of this domain as it is long and its a .org
But since its an inbound offer, you must counter offer or else the buyer would think that he has offered too much.

My counter offer (within limits) would be $580. The $80 is to convince the buyer that you know the value of your domain very precisely.

After some research, even I am starting to believe this domain can go for $xxxx maybe.
Used zfbot.com and found that the exact domain "nativeadvertising" is registered in 22 Tlds.
Also this keyword has been used in atleast 53 domains.

Now it depends upon the OP whether he wants to sit on it expecting $1200 - $1400 or get rid of it for half the amount. If he sits on it, he can contact the 17+ other inferior tlds with his price.

I never heard the term until recently. Amazon is paying its affiliates 12% this month for sales generated specifically through "native" ads.

I would definitely try and do like @stub said: size up the company. Google "[COMPANY NAME] annual revenue".

Maybe you can even see what other domains they own and if any of those purchases were recorded in NameBio.
