Weird question

Hey guys,

This is a weird question I know, but is Google Adsense considered a bot in anyways, or does it use a bot in any ways?

The Google Adsense bot visits every page you place Adsense on the first time its shown. It also does follow ups to the page every X views of the Adsense ad.

In your logs you'll probably see "Mediapartners-Google/2.1" or something similar. On my smaller sites I still see thousands of visits a month, so it's active, and should NOT be counted when listing a site's unique visitors
