I've been working a lot on my vermontinformation.com site, but feel like there's still a bunch I could do.

When I start getting more traffic I'd like to add a Free Classifieds section and a discussion board. I'm also looking for a partner that would allow me to add weather to the site (I've already looked at the weather options out there and most are either ugly or way to large).

I'm looking for any suggestions people may have to improve the site..specifically features.

Any SEO tips would be helpful too.

For RSS usage, the simplest I seen so far is http://www.dotcomfeeds.com

You find a website you want RSS from and get the link and put it in the box on the site above and it gives you the code to put on your site. No need for RSS programs and stuff. Btw. thats not my site, just something I use alot.

Also, get a logo on your site - make it yourself or run a contest here and someone to make one for your. People are getting logos from as little 300/500 NP$ or even 5$-10$ - but obviously you need to pay more to get the better designers in there. Get something catchy and professional - gives your image a big boost. (PM me if your interested in a logo).

Hmmm.. what else, maybe make use of googles map thing. When you talk about places in vermont ie a cinema or restruant or something link it thru google so people can see a map of how to get there. And definately get working on a discussion board/forum that would be a nice addition.
